Core Planning Activity 1: Strong Consortia

Our first core activity is to develop strong consortia at the local level. To do so, we have brought together a training, technical assistance and evaluation (TTAE) team, as well as experienced project directors to form a master consortium. The master consortium serves as an example for each community by operating under a master level MOA (see Our MOA on the Our Consortium page for our master-level agreement). We are also continually working to strengthen our partnerships. In turn, each community is developing local relationships to focus on the COP-RCORP planning work and will be formalizing local consortia with MOU agreements. These local agreements can be found at the bottom of each community’s page, under the CoP-RCORP Products section.

Memorandum of Understanding

This webinar discusses the development of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for a local community consortium in the COP-RCORP project. In particular, it goes over the annotated template (available to download on the right) and the components that need to be included in the local MOUs. Please use the blank template (available to download on the right) when completing your local community consortia's MOU. For the RCORP-Implementation phase, local RCORP Consortia will want to review the MOUs from the planning phase to ensure that it still covers everything needed. See the attached review worksheet to help you with this assessment.
